When something falls overboard, it is not as simple as going down and picking it back up. Is there a current? What's the visibility? Have you been diving already today - are cylinders full or nearly empty? What equipment is at hand and who can help? These are some of the questions that go into planning a safe search and recovery dive, before even being underwater! Learn these details and more to ensure safety and recovery can go hand in hand.
The fun part of this course is giving your basic dive skills a polish by introducing new concepts and learning to task load while on a dive.
You put this information into practice during four open water dives.
You use all your basic scuba gear including a dive computer. You will also be using a reel, compass, two lines for knot tying, and a lift bag.
Below, you will find the paperwork necessary to begin this course. Please either drop off or email us a completed copy as soon as possible. We will need to review this prior to the start of your class.
