The PADI Diving Enriched Air Nitrox Course

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with Enriched Air Nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.

What You Learn

• Setting your dive computer up to calculate your no decompression limit with different blends of oxygen
• Planning dives with enriched air
• How to analyze a cylinder's oxygen content
• Oxygen safety considerations

No dives are required for this specialty, but it does include in-person instructor training.

Prerequisites

• PADI Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another training organization) or enrolled in PADI Open Water Diver course
• 12 years or older
• Complete the required paperwork

The Scuba Gear You Use

Scuba gear is not necessary to take this course. If you own a dive computer, bring it along to learn how to set it up for nitrox. We can also discuss with you the best computers on the market right now that have an Enriched Air Dive mode.

Pricing

The cost of this course is $225. This includes the training materials via eLearning, certification processing fees, and then an in-person class with your instructor to review the concepts, analyze cylinders, and program your dive computer.  We’ll send you the eLearning once you sign up!
