Blue Planet Aware Week Conservation Challenge 2024-2025

Become an ocean advocate and enter to win a FREE spot on a Blue Planet trip!

The PADI AWARE Foundation is a non-profit aimed at driving local action for global ocean conservation. Each September, PADI hosts AWARE Week, in which people are encouraged to partake in conservation activities with their local dive shops.

Last year Blue Planet Scuba introduced our inaugural Conservation Challenge. This year, we’re hoping to get even more divers involved! 

Starting September 14, 2024, you can enter our drawing for a chance to win a spot on a trip to Cozumel or Grenada with Blue Planet when you earn 3 or more conservation-related specialties or participate in 3 or more conservation-focused events.

Prizes Include:
First Place: 1 FREE spot on a Blue Planet long-weekend trip to Grenada or Cozumel (must be used on a scheduled group trip by the end of 2026)

How to Enter

1. Complete 3 conservation-related courses with Blue Planet (See list below)

OR

2. Already have 3 conservation-related specialties? You can also enter by participating in 3 conservation-related activities with Blue Planet, like a Dive Against Debris or Rock Creek Cleanup.

When you have completed any 3 of the courses or activities below, please email us so we can add you to the drawing! We’ll announce the winner during AWARE Week 2025.

  1. Applicable Blue Planet conservation-focused PADI courses:

    • Peak Performance Buoyancy

    • AWARE Fish ID (classroom only OR full specialty)

    • Underwater Naturalist

    • Dive Against Debris

    • AWARE Shark Conservation Diver

    • Sea Turtle Awareness

    • Whale Shark Awareness

    • Project AWARE

    • Coral Reef Conservation

  2. Applicable Blue Planet conservation-focused activities:

    • Dives Against Debris

    • Attend a Rock Creek cleanup

    • Fish surveys completed on Blue Planet trips and submitted to REEF
