The Fun Part
Because you are able to move the cylinder from your back to your side, it instantly takes the pressure off of your back and gives you more flexibility to move and enjoy your dive. Plus, you don’t have to walk to the dive site with the cylinders on your back. You can enter the water, clip them on and go.

You put this information into practice during one confined and at least three open water dives.
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another training organization)
- 15 years or older
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use your mask, fins, and dive computer. You will be introduced to a BCD, regulators, SPGs, and accessories specifc to the sidemount configuration.

Below, you will find the paperwork necessary to begin this course. Please either drop off or email us a completed copy as soon as possible. We will need to review this prior to the start of your class.
Pricing
The cost of the course is $475 and includes the eLearning, and the 1 confined and 3 open water dives, with tanks and weights. Rental gear, scuba park entrance fees, overnight accommodations, travel and meals are not included. We’ll send you the eLearning once you sign up!
