PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Elite Instructor

After spending 6 years basking in Southern California’s sun and warmth, Trish decided it was finally time to learn how to SCUBA after moving to Washington DC in the middle of the winter (2018). Her SCUBA journey got off to a rough start during her Open Water course, leaving her to think, “This is literally the worst thing humans have ever done to themselves.” Instead, Trish started to like diving during the Advanced Open Water (AOW) course and got hooked after finding the right instructor.

Since becoming an instructor in 2019, Trish has been motivated to help others who may be second-guessing if they are “meant” to be divers. Believing that everyone learns better when having fun, Trish blends high-quality education with high-energy FUN! Including various “missions,” shark and orca “fun facts,” and a plethora of bad jokes for her students.

Trish is a PADI Staff Instructor and Elite Instructor with experience in teaching the full PADI course range. Outside of the water, Trish is an aerospace engineer, a 4x marathon runner, and loves ice cream!
