Kay began diving in 2013 after earning her first scuba certification in Malaysia, where she quickly fell in love with the freedom and calm of the underwater world. That passion led her to become a scuba instructor in 2018, teaching across Southeast Asia while traveling from one destination to another and sharing the ocean with students from around the world. In 2019, Kay became a freediving instructor and discovered a deeper connection to the water through breath-hold diving. The quiet, equipment-free experience of freediving became her personal form of meditation and balance.

Today, Kay is the first underwater dance instructor in the United States, blending diving skills with creativity and movement. Her teaching focuses on helping divers build confidence, express themselves, and rediscover joy underwater. Whether guiding new divers or experienced students, Kay’s goal is simple: make the underwater world feel welcoming, inspiring, and full of possibility.
