Justin Keesee began instructing with Blue Planet Scuba in September 2022, bringing decades of
professional maritime and diving experience.

Justin is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and EFR Instructor, with a wide range of specialty
instructor ratings including Deep, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Dry Suit, Search & Recovery, Peak
Performance Buoyancy, Boat, Underwater Navigation, Emergency Oxygen Provider, and AWARE Fish
Identification and Coral Conservation.

He has completed hundreds of professional dives in challenging environments, including cold
water, low visibility, strong currents, surf, overhead environments, and offshore conditions. In
addition to extensive in-water experience, Justin has led diver training programs, supervised
dive operations, and supported advanced dive safety and emergency procedures.

Justin’s teaching style emphasizes strong foundational skills, excellent buoyancy, and confident,
safe diving. Whether you’re new to scuba or continuing your training, he is committed to
helping you become a skilled, comfortable, and capable diver.
