The Fun Part
Finding your way is not a matter of luck! When everyone’s buzzing about a reef or checking out a shipwreck, they’re having a great time – until it’s time to go. Be the diver that knows how to safely return.
What You Learn
Underwater navigation can be challenging, but in the PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty course, you master the challenge. This is done with the tools of the trade, including natural navigation and by compass.
You learn:
- Navigation patterns
- Natural navigation (without a compass)
- Compass navigation
- Dive site relocation
- How to estimate distance underwater
You put this information into practice during three open water dives.
Prerequisites
- PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another training organization)
- 10 years or older
The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all your basic scuba gear plus a compass!
Paperwork
Below, you will find the paperwork necessary to begin this course. Please either drop off or email us a completed copy as soon as possible. We will need to review this prior to the start of your class.
Pricing
The cost of the course is $300 and includes the eLearning, and the 3 open water dives, with tanks and weights. Rental gear, compass, scuba park entrance fees, overnight accommodations, travel and meals are not included. We’ll send you the eLearning once you sign up!
We schedule these sessions based on your availability and the instructor's, and can run them on some trips. Contact us to schedule a class!
