You’ll learn basic principles of composition, how to prevent backscatter, and the best ways to photograph different types of marine life, divers, and underwater seascapes. You’ll also learn editing techniques, and how a little pre-planning can help create a story. You’ll have two underwater photo dives with your PADI Instructor, who can also help you choose an underwater camera system, or sort out how to use the one you’ve already bought.
Beyond knowledge development, you’ll complete two open water dives with a PADI Instructor. You’ll need a camera with underwater housing, white balance slate, and any support hardware such as camera batteries, memory cards, o-ring lubricant, etc.
