It’s time to dust off those running shoes and join Blue Planet for the 4th Annual REEF Fish Out of Water Virtual 5K!
Between June 5-11, you're invited to join with fellow ocean lovers by getting active to support marine conservation! You can choose your favorite activity: run, walk, hike, bike, swim, or even paddle! You can complete your 5K in one day or throughout the week, participating from anywhere in the world.
Proceeds from the Fish Out of Water 5K support the REEF Oceans for All initiative. Oceans for All supports scholarships, programming, and outreach activities to provide ocean experiences and education for equity-deserving groups. Visit this page to learn more and watch a video about Oceans for All.
So how do you get started?

2) Select your Fish Race Team. (You will join one of five Fish Teams: Tiger Rockfish, Hammerhead Shark, Emporer Angelfish, Spotted Eagle Ray and Clownfish). Check out the Fish Teams page to see which is the team for you!)

4) Post your fish team and tag us! (@blueplanetdc)
Want to meet up with your Blue Planet dive buddies for the 5K?
We're planning to plog (walk or jog while picking up trash) in Rock Creek Park on Sunday, June 11th. Then we'll head to a local brewery to celebrate! Email us to let us know if you'd like to join.
